Lorraine H. Erdman

Lorraine H. Erdman, 89 of Janesville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Janesville Nursing Home.
Funeral Service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Janesville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the St. John's - Trinity Lutheran Cemetery of Iosco Township.
Arrangements are being handled by the Starkson & Steffel Funeral and Cremation Service ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville.
Lorraine was born July 3, 1927 to Martin and Frieda (Miller) Mittelsteadt and attended country school in Waseca County.
On August 27,1946, she married Gilbert Erdman at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, and together raised their five children on the family farm.
After raising her family, she worked over 40 years at E. F. Johnsons in Waseca.
She loved to sew, and created dolls, clothing and numerous items in her days. Her flower garden was her pride and joy, and was known in the area for its perfection. She loved birds, traveling with her husband and dancing. She was a caring mother and will be remembered by many.
She is survived by her children, Galen (Linda) Erdman, Susan Hoehn, Daryl (Kris) Erdman, Debra (Jeff) Armstrong and Scott Erdman; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; with many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert in 2000; sisters, Lucille (Kenneth) Meyer and LaJune (Gordon) Kolstad.
