Lori Anne Carda was born on April 29, 1973, in Glencoe to John and Carol (Buesgens) Funk. She grew up in Buffalo Lake and graduated from Buffalo Lake Hector High School in 1991. Following her education she lived in Buffalo Lake for a short time before moving to Glencoe where she worked at Seneca in the environmental service department for 17 years before moving to Janesville. She most recently worked for Whispering Creek Nursing Home in Janesville where she truly cared about every resident she worked with.
Lori was a loving soul who enjoyed family time and loved her husband more than anything. Lori loved camping, collecting angels and butterflies, which was one of her passions. Lori and her husband, Steven Carda were recently married and have been inseparable since their first date on May 31, 2016. Set up by friends and family, Lori and Steve were an instant match and were madly in love. They spent time together going to Minnesota Wild and St. Paul Saint games, vacationing to South Dakota and Eau Clair, and especially spoiling their nephews and nieces. Lori will be dearly missed.
Lori is survived by her loving husband, Steven; and extended family.
Preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Susan and Jennifer.
