Lois Jewison, age 87, of Janesville, died peacefully on Tuesday evening, December 17, 2019 at Whispering Creek of Janesville.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Rev. Paul Muther and Rev. Brian Johnston officiating. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lois Marie Jewison was born on September 15, 1932, in White, South Dakota to Christ and Mabel (Friday) Doss. She was baptized as an infant in White, South Dakota and confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alma City. She attended Pemberton Public School, graduating with the class of 1950. On April 22, 1950, Lois was united in marriage to Frank Jewison. Together they made their home on the Jewison Family farm north of Janesville where they raised eight children.
Lois was a remarkable farm wife, always tending to her familys needs, volunteering as a chaperon on her childrens field trips, and making sure there were meals prepared and treats for the kids after school. After her children were out of the home, she worked at the Janesville Nursing Home and later for Colony Court in Waseca. Lois enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially wintering in Texas. She enjoyed family events, holidays and reunions. Lois was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville where she was active in Ladies Aid.
Lois is survived by her children: Steve (Susan) of Janesville, Richard (Eileen) of Eagle Lake, Dale (Bev) of Janesville, Cathie (Joe) Glynn of Waseca, Tom (Eileen) of Janesville, Mike (Darla) of Janesville, and Kristy (Steve) Ziegler of Mankato; 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kim Jewison of Mankato; brother, Darrel (Sheryl) Doss of Minneapolis; brothers-in-law: Harvey Anderson of Eagle Lake, and Wally Stelter of Mankato; sister-in-law, Pam Doss of Albert Lea; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tim; grandson, Brian Jewison; great grandson; Caden Glynn; and siblings: Orville, Alan, Edward, Doris, Dallas, Loraine, Vernon and Nellie.
