Lisa Ruth Rinehart

LISA RUTH RINEHART, age 55, of Waseca died unexpectedly at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on Monday, February 21, 2022.

Born on February 23, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas to Paul and Beatrice (Ramirez) Melendrez Sr. Lisa received her education at Worthington and Lubbock High Schools. She also attended cosmetology school in Fairmont. Lisa was united in marriage on June 11, 1983, to Roger Alan Frye in Worthington, together they had two sons and were later divorced. On August 28, 2004, Lisa was united in marriage to Russell Charles Rinehart in Janesville and together they lived in Janesville before making their home in Waseca. In 2008, Lisa continued her education at South Central College in North Mankato where she studied business. Following this education, she began working for Walmart with the Store Planning Department and in her early years worked for Brown Printing in Waseca. Lisa enjoyed scrapbooking, frequenting Starbucks, traveling, playing softball and volleyball, and spending money. Above all else she cherished her grandchildren!

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Russell of Waseca; children: Justin Frye (fiancé, Joan Greene) of Waseca, and Nathan Frye of Winona; stepchildren: Chad (Jessica) Rinehart and Shannon Rinehart, both of Janesville; nine grandchildren; six step grandchildren; father, Paul Melendrez Sr. of Lubbock, TX; sisters: Debbie (Dustin) Culbertson of Waseca and Elaine Tetzloff of Temple, TX; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Ramirez and brother, Paul Melendrez Jr.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Waseca Christian Assembly. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Waseca Christian Assembly. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
