Linda Lou Miller

LINDA LOU MILLER, age 76, of Kilkenny passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Traditions of Waterville surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on November 20, 1946 in Faribault to Dale and Lois (Hoban) Seibel. She grew up at Best Point Resort in Waterville. She graduated from Waterville High School. She furthered her education at Mankato Commercial College, graduating in 1966. On April 23, 1966, she married Jerry Miller at St. Canice Church in Kilkenny. Together, they raised their three children, Kris, Jerry, and Amy. Linda worked at Citizens State Bank for 22 years and ran Best Point Resort & Hidden Cove Campground with her husband and children.

In Linda’s freetime, she enjoyed bowling, softball, playing cards, riding motorcycles, ATVs, Jet Ski, and anything that went fast. She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Waterville and St. Canice church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry Miller; children, Kris Miller (Fiancé Chris Short) and his children, Lauren and Sophie Short, Jerry Miller and his children, Aiden and Matthew Miller, Amy (Luke) Gohlike and their son, Gavin Gohlike; siblings, Nancy Holderness (Den DeBlieck) of Albert Lea; brother-in-law, Lynn (Margo) Miller of Longmont, CO; sister-in-law, Karen Morris of Waterville; nieces and nephews, Jody, Kevin, Cameron, Logan, Chad, Amy, Addy, Ike, and Jeff. Preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Lois Seibel; grandparents, and in-laws.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Waterville Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Church of St. Canice in Kilkenny. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny.
