Lilly L. Engelhardt, age 92, died on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Waseca Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freedom Township, Waseca County with Rev. Glenn L. Korb officiating. Interment will be in the Janesville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home in Waseca, and will continue on Wednesday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor''s choice. Lilly Lydia was born on April 27. 1916 in Wilton Township, Waseca County, Minnesota to August and Lydia (Gritzmaker) Englehardt. Lilly was baptized, and confirmed by Rev. E.H.C. Mueller at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freedom Township. She attended Dist. 65 country school, and Immanuel Lutheran Parochial School. Lilly lived all of her life in Waseca County. For 51 years she sold Avon, and was well known for making cakes for many celebrations. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brother Roy Engelhardt and her two sisters Ethel Engelhardt and Florence Krause.
