Lillian Thelma Gehring

LILLIAN THELMA GEHRING, age 98 of Lemond, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022 at the New Richland Care Center.

Lillian was born in Waseca on April 7, 1924, the daughter of Harry O. and Ella (Klabo) Quickstad. She was baptized, confirmed, and married at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church of Lemond Minnesota. Her husband of 64 years, Emery Gehring, passed away August 18, 2013.

Lillian is survived by three children: Duane (Debra) Gehring of Owatonna, Curtis (Susan) Gehring of Elysian, and Le Ann Gehring-Ryan of North Mankato; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Gehring (Jesse Knutson), Jeff (Bethany) Gehring, Greg (Tiffany) Gehring, Mark (Karrisa) Gehring, Ted (Katie) Gehring, Laura (Justin) Fletcher, and Evan Ryan; and twelve great-grandchildren: Quinn Knutson, Heath Knutson, Rae Ann Gehring, Ezra Gehring, Hazel Gehring, Iris Gehring, Dove Gehring, Adrianna Gehring, Emery Gehring, August Gehring, Brayden Fletcher, Logan Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church in Lemond, with Rev. David Klawiter officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pontoppidan Lutheran Church.
