Lawrence B. St. Martin Sr., age 70, of Faribault, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis following a sudden illness. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church in Faribault, with Rev. Joanna Mitchell, officiating. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault. Lawrence Bernard, the son of Bernard and Doris (Fremouw) St. Martin, was born on March 20, 1941 in Faribault. He was raised in Faribault and attended Faribault High School. Lawrence was united in marriage to Pamela Hanegraaf on June 6, 1971 in Morristown. He worked for many years as the manager of the FasGas station in Faribault. Later he worked at the Treasure Cheese Cave in Faribault. Most recently, Larry worked for group homes in Faribault, including ESI and Lutheran Social Services. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family. Larry also loved to play cards, especially poker and blackjack. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela of Faribault; four children, Jennifer (Dave) Schultz and Andrew (Llyssa) St. Martin, both of Faribault, and Lawrence B. St. Martin Jr. and Ronald St. Martin, both of Albert Lea, MN; five grandchildren, Austin and Alex Schultz, Ryker St. Martin, and Dustin, Brooke, and A.J. St. Martin; his mother, Doris St. Martin of Faribault; three brothers, Steve St. Martin of Deer Park, TX, and Brad (Debbie) St. Martin and Jeff St. Martin (Patti Brody), both of Faribault; four sisters, Roxanne Kolterman, Claudie Skogen, Rebecca St. Martin, and Lisa (Dan) Swanson, all of Faribault; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard St. Martin; grandparents, Albert and Ann St. Martin; and nieces and nephews.
