Lawrence James O'Brien

LAWRENCE JAMES O’BRIEN, age 65, of Waseca died on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2021, at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Born on May 31, 1956, in Waseca to Donald and Lucille “Susie” (McNamee) O’Brien. Larry grew up in Waterville and attended Waterville-Elysian Public School. At the age of 17, he enlisted into the United States Army where he honorably served his country. Following his honorable discharge, Larry moved back to Waterville, later moving to Waseca. He worked for Delta – Waseca Truck Body in Waseca, Brown Printing in Waseca and most recently at Genova in Faribault before retiring in 2019.

Larry is survived by his children: Stephanie and Christopher; brother, Michael of Faribault; aunt, Betty McMillen of Waterville; and many cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Kelly.

Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
