Larry Ambroz

LARRY CHARLES AMBROZ, age 63, of Waseca died on March 16, 2022, at his home.

Born on November 24, 1958, in Mankato to Alvin and Marilyn (Probach) Ambroz. He received his education at Waldorf-Pemberton Public School and graduated from Waseca High School with the class of 1977. Larry was united in marriage to Mary Summer on September 3, 1988 at the First Congregational Church in Waseca. He worked many jobs throughout his life but most notably at Rustco, Brown Printing and lastly at Delta Trucking as a welder. Larry enjoyed riding his Harley and working on Jeeps in his garage with friends. Larry loved being around people and making them laugh. Even at the end of his life, Larry never lost his sense of humor. “The Eagle has Landed”

Larry is survived by his mother, Marilyn Ambroz of Waseca; wife, Mary of Waseca; daughters: Nicole (Greg Grillo) Murphy of Chaska, and Bridget (Troy Grundhoffer) Miller of Waseca; grandchildren: Dylan (Ashley Hoffman) Murphy, Tyanna (Tristan Benson) Murphy, and Jillian Grundhoffer; siblings: Nicky (Suzette) Ambroz of Ellendale, and Lori (George) Splinter of Hartland; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by his dad.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca. Interment will be in the spring at Medo Central Cemetery in rural Pemberton.
