LaDonna 'Donna' M. Brunner September 15, 1929 - December 14, 2015

LaDonna "Donna" M. Brunner, age 86 of Faribault, died Monday, December 14, 2015 at the District One Hospital in Faribault following an extended illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to services.

The family prefers that memorials be directed to Bethlehem Academy High School or to the American Cancer Society in memory of LaDonna.

LaDonna Marie, the daughter of Lewis Sr. and Lena (Chavie) Caron, was born on September 15, 1929 in Faribault. Donna attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1947. After high school Donna began working for the Beltz Office Supply Company in Faribault and would work there until 1965. During this time Donna also attended Tax School and in 1965 began preparing taxes with Dale Granneman and Bob Pluemer. After her retirement in 1992 Donna worked from home with her tax preparation business. On November 11, 1950 she was united in marriage to Carl Brunner at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. Carl preceded her in death on April 21, 1993. Donna was an amazing woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards and looked forward each year to the Caron Family Reunion. She was a lifelong member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church and was also a member of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

LaDonna is survived by her five children and son-in-law, Steve Keilen of Fergus Falls, MN, Dennis (Julie) Brunner of Edmond, OK, Doreen Brunner of Kenyon, MN, Anne (Patrick) Doyle of Faribault, Jim (Cheryl) Brunner of Warsaw and Lisa Brunner of Faribault; by 12

grandchildren, Joshua (Brenda) Keilen, Amy (Jason) Baur, Jake (Melissa) Brunner, Paul (Tami) Brunner, Angela (Jon) Delf, Matthew (Elana) Brunner, Jason (Jen) Starkson, Katie Starkson and fianc, Andrew Yaggie, Benjamin Doyle, Carly Doyle, Ryan (Karri) Kenow and Andrew Brunner (Amy McCann); by 13 great grandchildren; by her siblings, Lewis (Marlene) Caron and Patricia (Greg) Caron, both of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl, infant son, Carl Paul, daughter, Sharon Keilen, grandson, William Brunner, brothers, Jerome, Isidore, Bernard and Clem Caron and sisters, Genevieve Goodwin, Evelyn Thiffault, Irene Thompson, Dolores Bloomquist and Bernadine Jackson.
