KENNETH J. OBRIEN, age 57 of Waseca died on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Born on December 21, 1959 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Donald and Lucille (McNamee) OBrien.  He attended school in Waterville.  Ken worked at Brown Printing Co. in Waseca as well as Power Team in Owatonna.  He was also a stay at home dad.   Ken and Annette Schlicht spent 35 years together.  They were married on August 30, 2009 in Las Vegas.  Ken enjoyed recycling metal and loved building and restoring his collector cars.  He also loved his cats and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Annette; three children, Ben Evenrude of Sun Prairie, WI, Corey (Dayla) OBrien of Janesville, and Jennifer OBrien of Janesville; and five grandchildren.  He is also survived by two brothers, Lawrence OBrien of Waseca and Michael OBrien of Faribault.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kelly OBrien.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-5 PM.
