Judy F. Arndt
JUDITH "JUDY" FAYE ARNDT, age 71 of Waldorf died on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Born on February 2, 1944 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Eldor and Hildegarde (Krueger) Tesch. She graduated from Waldorf-Pemberton High School in 1962. She was baptized, confirmed and married at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf where she was a lifelong member. Judy married David "Ozzie" Arndt on July 5, 1963 and to this union six children were born. Judy had worked at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca, Eisens in Waldorf and also Birds Eye in Waseca. She enjoyed reading, spending time on the computer and attending her grandchildrens activities. Judy was an active member of First Lutheran Church and the Women in Mission.
She is survived by her husband, David of Waldorf; five children, Richard (Jodie) Arndt of St. Clair and their daughter, Bailey, Steve (Cindy) Arndt of Mapleton and their children, Chelsea (Noah) Germo and their son, Grayson, Marissa, and Lincoln, John Arndt of Hayfield and his children, Blake and Dylan, Paul Arndt of Waldorf, and Susan Cook and special friend Shaun Larson of LeMars, IA and her children, Taylor, Mason, and Tanner Cook, and Liberty Larson. Judy is also survived by her siblings, Karen Lang of Gaylord, Wayne Tesch of Faribault, Jerry (Debbie) Tesch of Le Sueur , and Mark (Roxanne) Tesch of Blooming Prairie; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Delores (Don) Dierking of Medford and Darold (Irene) Arndt of Gilbert, AZ; godmother, Florence Burmeister of Mankato and several other nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian; and grandson, Carter.
Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4-8 PM and continue on Tuesday, one hour before services at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf with Rev. Michael Mathews officiating. Burial will follow at First Lutheran Cemetery in Waldorf.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Cemetery or the donors choice.
