Judith (Judy) A. Roy October 11, 1946 - September 24, 2015

Judith A. (Gretz) Roy, age 68 of Minneapolis and formerly of Faribault, died Thursday, September 24, 2015.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4537 3rd Ave. South, Minneapolis. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault, MN.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, MN.

Judith Anne, the daughter of Charles and Rose (Vohs) Gretz, was born on October 11, 1946 in Faribault, MN. She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1964. Judy attended Augsburg College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications while raising her son and working full time. She was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railroad for 14 years. After retirement she enjoyed being a nanny for several children.

Judy was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the South Minneapolis chapter of the Red Hats Society.

She is survived by her grandson, Zane Walker Roy and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Adams, both of Bozeman, MT; by sister-in-law, Bonnie Gretz and Vohs and Gretz cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Daniel Christopher Roy and brother, Steven Gretz.
