John "Jack" Grimm, age 81, of Faribault, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Faribault Care Center following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (139 Mercy Drive) in Faribault, with the Rev. Erik Lundgren, officiating. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday morning for 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault. John Francis Grimm, the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Grimm was born on July 5, 1930 in Faribault. He attended Bethlehem Academy and graduated with the class of 1949. Following high school, Jack began his lifelong career of dairy farming. He was always interested in learning the new techniques in science throughout his life. Jack is survived by many cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
