Jody L (Claude) Bertagnolli June 7, 1970 - April 27, 2015

Jody Bertagnolli, age 44, of Waseca passed away suddenly surrounded by her family on Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Mary''s Hospital in Rochester.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca with Pastor Roger Haug officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Jody Lynn, daughter of James and Cynthia (Johnston) Claude was born on June 7, 1970 in Faribault, MN. She attended and graduated from Morristown High School. Jody was united in marriage to Tim Wendler on September 29, 1990 and they later divorced. She worked as a nursing assistant in the ER at the Mayo Clinic in Waseca. On December 31, 2014, Jody was united in marriage to John Bertagnolli, who later passed away.

She was a smart, kind person with a great sense of humor. She loved music, cooking, reading, and sitting by the bonfire. She loved babysitting her "dog nieces" and she loved spending time with her children. Jody was especially proud of her nephew, Corbyn, who is a United States Marine. Jody chose to give the gift of life by donating her organs to those in need.

Jody is survived by her children, Dalton Wendler (Kirsten Roder) of Clarkfield, MN, Kortnee Wendler (Kyle Morris) of Waterville, Austin Wendler of Waseca, and Izabella Strauss of Janesville; sisters, Jamie (Jon) Kahnke of Waseca and Jenni (Jami) Blake of Owatonna; nieces and nephews, Sierra Copp, Samantha Strand, Michael Kahnke, all of Waseca, Chantel Zimbrich of Janesville, and Corbyn Zimbrich of CA, and by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, John.
