JoAnne Lynne Haslip

JOANNE LYNNE HASLIP, age 73 of Waterville died on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born on October 4, 1949 in Rapid City, South Dakota, JoAnne was the daughter of Kenneth and Phyllis (Alexander) Bowdish.   She grew up in the Mankato area where she attended Mankato West High School.  She was married to Frank Fox and together they had five children before they later divorced.  JoAnne married Ronald Haslip on March 25, 1994.  They lived in Waterville where she enjoyed raising and spending time with their large extended family.  JoAnne enjoyed fishing, dancing, camping, bingo, puzzles, her dogs, and most importantly her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald of Waterville; children, Lisa Fox of Janesville, Jen Hubbard of Wells, Missy Fox of Morristown, and Anne (Nathan) Paulson of Kilkenny; step-children, Janean (Ron) Wolf of Waterville, Jason Haslip of Minneapolis, Darrel Haslip and James (Aja) Haslip of California, Jana Hodge of Oklahoma, and Samantha (Jeremy) Gauthier of Owatonna; 22 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.   She is also survived by her former husband, Frank (Peg) Fox of Truman and several siblings.   JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Todd Fox; three grandchildren, Alicia, Zachary, and Derek; ten siblings in a house fire in 1964 and two other siblings.
