JOAN CAROL COX, age 74 of Waseca, died on Monday, July 27, 2015 at her residence.
Born on November 18, 1940 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Peter and Lucille (Matz) Ravnkilde Sr.   She graduated from Waseca High School in 1958 and on March 11, 1959, she married Eugene Cox in Mason City, IA.  Together they managed a lodge in Grand Marais for a short time before moving to Minneapolis where Joan worked at Sears & Roebuck for 24 years.  She moved to Waseca in 1995 and worked at Emerson before retiring.   Joan enjoyed word finds, puzzles and decorating.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra (Scott) Warner of Roseville; one grandson, Eric Beck of Venice Beach, CA and one granddaughter, Sara Beck of Minneapolis.  She is also survived by one brother, Gary Ravnkilde of Waseca and one sister, Jean Mens of Waseca.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and two brothers. Private family services are being held.  Burial will be at Alma City Cemetery.
