Jo Bouldin October 27, 1936 - December 5, 2008

Jo Ann Bouldin, age 72, of Faribault, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to services. Jo Ann Hamman, the daughter of Milton B. and Hallie V. (Foulks) Hamman, was born on Oct. 27, 1936 in Childress County, Texas. On May 8, 1962 she was united in marriage to Larry J. Bouldin. They were later divorced. Jo Ann worked as a proof reader for the Naperville Sun Newspaper in Chicago. When her children were young she was active as a Cub Scout Den Mother for her sons. When she moved to Faribault Jo Ann became an active member of the Assemblies of God Church, leading Bible Study groups for adults and youth and started the AGLOW Chapter. She also enjoyed camping, traveling all across the United States and Europe and spending time with her family. She is survived by three children, Tim (Diane) Bouldin of Faribault, Randy Bouldin of Fullerton, CA and Linda Jo Buckingham of Yorkville, IL; by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son Joel L. Bouldin on Sept. 21, 1966 and by her two brothers, Milton and Alton Hamman.
