Jewel was called to meet the Lord surrounded by family, friends and cherished pets at the "family farm" in Faribault on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Jewel was a precious gem to all and her shine and love touched many people. Born July 15, 1939 in Cumberland Furnace, TN to Robert and Rachel (Lee) Bromley. She never lost her southern charm and her beloved southern ways. On December 6, 1975 she was united in marriage to Steven Grundman at the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Faribault. She lived up to her name with the loving care that she gave to others as a nurse. She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed all types of music, from religious to classical and country. Jewel also enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening at the family farm and spending time with family and friends.
She looked forward to reuniting with those having gone before her. Her parents, son David Felix and brothers, Donald and William Bromley.
Special thanks to all the prayer partners at Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, and other groups, and many friends that were praying for Jewel.
