Jeffrey Robeck May 5, 1957 - November 3, 2008

Jeffrey D. Robeck, age 51 of Janesville, died on Monday, November 3, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin officiating. Interment will be in the Smiths Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Arnoldt- McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville, and will continue on Friday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. Jeffrey Dale was born on May 5, 1957 to Dale and LaVon (Tetzloff) Robeck in Waseca, Minnesota. He graduated from Janesville High School in 1975. Jeff went on to study agri-business at Mankato Vocational School. For many years he had worked in elevator and ag construction. Later he worked for Lake Country Sales in Elysian, Itron in Waseca, and most recently MTU On Site Energy (formerly Kato Light Corp) in Mankato. Jeff was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. He loved the outdoors, hunting, time spent at the family cabin on Lake Gorman, and restoring his car and attending car shows. Jeff was also a life member of Pheasants Forever. He is survived by his mother, LaVon of Janesville; by his siblings Brian Robeck and Sandra Wick of LeSueur, Bruce Robeck of Madison Lake, and Jodi (Terry) Gens of Madison Lake; by his nieces and nephews and great nephew, aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father on March 18, 2006; by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Casket bearers are: Joe Johnson, Andy Riechard, Dennis Leiferman, John Vogler, Joe Volz and Bob Stankey. Honorary bearers are: Ron Cummins, Mitchell Stanke, Seth Robeck and Jackson Gens.
