Jeffrey Allen Owen

JEFFREY ALLEN OWEN, age 53 of Stuart, FL, formerly of Mankato, MN passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 in Defuniak Springs, FL.

Born in Waseca on April 2, 1968, Jeffrey was the son of David and Shirley (Lust) Owen. He attended grade school in Pemberton before graduating from Mankato West High School with the class of 1986. Jeff enjoyed riding snowmobiles and motorcycles, golfing, and being with his friends and family.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Shirley Owen of Mankato; two children, Sarah (Michael) Tiegs of Henderson and Jacob Owen (girlfriend Skylar Larsen) of Good Thunder; three grandchildren, Andrew, Mitchell, and Kinsley Tiegs of Henderson; his brother, Chadd Owen (girlfriend Susie York) of Mankato; aunts and uncles, Leta (Tony) Alleven of Winnebago, Betty Lust of Graceville, Beverly (Duane) Engle of Janesville, Don (Carol) Owen of Marshall, Dale Owen of Mankato, and Darlene Owen of Fergus Falls; and three nieces and nephews, Trevor, Erin, and Jack.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Lyle and Orvilla Owen and Virgil & Rosalia Lust; uncles, Dean Owen and Ray Lust; two aunts, Helen Malecha and Shirley Owen; and three cousins, Tim and Tom Alleven and Kyle Owen.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow at Medo Lutheran Cemetery in rural Pemberton.
