Jean Hendricks January 10, 1921 - January 28, 2015

Jean Hendricks, age 94, of Waconia, MN, and formerly of Faribault, MN, passed away January 28, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Society of Waconia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Margaret Jean was born on January 10, 1921 in Ortonville, MN, to Harry and Charlotte (Minnick) Coderre. She was raised mostly in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1939. Jean was married to Ray Hendricks on October 27, 1941 at the St. Joseph''s Catholic Church in Owatonna. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1974. Jean worked for Northwest Telephone and the Faribault State Hospital. She was a member of the St. Anne''s Society. Jean was an avid sports fan, having a tremendous knowledge of many collegiate and professional teams. She loved to travel and lived in many different locations. Her travels took her to all the states except Hawaii. Jean enjoyed knitting and crafts, camping and their horses. She was very devoted to her faith.

She is survived by her children, Kay (Ralph) Goracke of Faribault, Tom (Bonnie) Hendricks of Squaw Lake, MN, Mary (Jesus) Davila of San Antonio, TX, Pam (Gary) Plaisance of Blaine, MN, David (Dolly) Hendricks of Apple Valley, MN, Carol (Roy) Esquibel of Chesapeake, VA, and Deb (Coco) Henry of Montrose, MN; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Spitzack of Owatonna; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents, Harry and Charlotte; granddaughter, Marilyn Goracke; and brother, Jack Corderre.
