Jason Edward Slama, age 47 of Mankato passed away on January 18 from complications of Neurofibromatosis (NF).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22 from 4:00 8:00 p.m. at Church of St. Ann in Janesville and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, in Divine Mercy Chapel at Church of St. Ann.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, at Church of St. Ann in Janesville. Burial will be held on a later date at the Janesville Cemetery. It was Jasons wish all who attended his visitation and funeral wear Minnesota sports apparel.
Jason was born on August 27, 1971 to Mark and Rita (Fries) Slama at Fitz Simons Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton High School in 1990 and South Central Technical College in 1994.
He was employed by Cub Foods for over 20 years until he became ill with Cancer.
Jason is survived by his parents, one sister LeAnn Dow (Dan), one daughter Makenzie Yaegar, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
