Jane Lowry, age 93, of Waseca, died on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming, Minnesota.
A Memorial Service will be 10:30 AM on Friday, October 11, at Starkson & Steffel Funeral & Cremation Service ~ McRaith Chapel of Waseca. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. To celebrate Janes life all are invited to wear Twins or Packers apparel. (Viking fans will also be accepted.)
Memorials are preferred to the Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley, Northwoods Humane Society or Doctors without Borders.

Jane Francis was born on May 25, 1926, in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Romayne (Shotto) Parfrey. She attended Scranton public school, graduating in 1944. Following her education she took bookkeeping courses at LaSalle University and worked for Franchise Mailing for 13 years in their payroll and bookkeeping department. While in Scranton she was very active in the Girl Scouts where she served as Treasurer for 3 years. In 1968, Jane moved to Waseca where she worked in the restaurant business as well as at the hospital for three years and ended her working career with Walmart where she worked for 26 years.
Jane loved baseball, especially following the Minnesota Twins. She enjoyed animals, going out to dinner and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Jane is survived by five children: Linda (Robert J.) Harris of Waseca, Debbie (Mark) Neidt of St. Croix Falls, WI, John (Sandy) Lowry of Clear Lake, IA, Ron (Julie) Lowry of Chapin, SC and Eileen (Scott Miller) Connors of Wyoming, MN; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one sister: Marilyn Felix of Stratford, CT; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Parfrey of Clarks Summit, PA, and Sue Parfrey of Green Ridge, PA; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son and daughter-in-law: Jim (Mary) McManamon; three brothers: Ted, Bobby and Tommy Parfrey; one sister, Marjorie Sherbourne.
