James Robert Collmann, age 69 of Mankato, died on November 13, 2014 at his home following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 17436 Minnesota 22, Good Thunder, MN 56037, with Pastor Mary Miska officiating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Arnoldt- McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville and for one hour prior to services on Sunday.

James Robert, son of Harry and Emma (Linde) Collmann, was born on January 22, 1945 in Mankato, MN. He attended high school in St. Clair. Following his schooling, he joined the U.S. Army and served his time in Korea. Once his service was complete, he worked as an Electronics Technician for 39 years at Team Electronics and Minnesota Elevator Inc. He was united in marriage to Marcella Froehlich on October 18, 2002 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and fixing.

Jim is survived by his wife, Marcella Collmann; his children and their families, Heather (Charlie) Vielhauer, Emma and Chloe, and Chad (Natalie) Collmann; his step children and their families, Jodi (Terry) Borchardt, Brady and Blake, great grandson Braxton, Donavin (Mandy) Taber, Jesse and Madison, and Dawn (Eugene) Aukes, Keenen; his siblings and their families, Marvin (Judy) Collmann, Todd (Caren), Shane, Jason, and Tess (Darrin), Ray (Anne) Collmann, Lance (Vanessa), and Marlene (Don) Yenish, Ryan (Sandy), and by many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his two nieces, Amy and Jessica Yenish.
