JAMES E. "JIM" JEWISON, age 73 of Waldorf, died at his home on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Born on February 4, 1942 in Waseca County, Jim was the son of George and Josephine (Pfeifer) Jewison.  He attended country school in Waseca County before later graduating from Sacred Heart High School in 1960.  Jim served his country in the United States Air Force for several years, having been stationed in Alaska and Massachusetts.  In 1983, he began operating his own business, Jewison Poured Walls.  On May 20, 1984 Jim was married to Diane Born in South Dakota.  They made their home together in Waseca and spent many happy years together until Dianes death in 2010.  Most recently, Jim drove truck part time for Associated Lumber Mart in Waseca.  He was a hard working man whose giant hands (or his "paws" as his family called them) are finally at rest.  Jim was an incredibly kind and giving man that enjoyed riding snowmobiles and loved horses and hobby farming.
Jim is survived by four children, Todd Jewison of New Richland, Tammi Jewison of Waseca, Jesse (Sarah) Jewison of Waseca, and Shane (Kelli) Jewison of Shakopee; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four siblings, Jerry (Pat) Jewison of Copeland, TX, Patricia (Joe) Bartz of Ontario, CA, Jack (Lan) Jewison of Waseca, and Don (Nancy) Jewison of Waseca; special friend, Darlene Larson of Waseca; several nieces and nephews; and his extended family, Katie Pfeifer and her seven children and their families.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Diane; one son, Travis Jewison; one brother, David Jewison; and a special cousin, Johnny Pfeifer.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca, with Rev. Gregory Leif officiating.  Visitation will be held for two hours before the service at the church.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.
