Ione A. Weber March 11, 1922 - May 8, 2013

Ione A. Weber, age 91 of Janesville, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Waterville Good Samaritan Care Center, surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 13th at 1:00 P.M. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville with Fr. Peter Klein, Celebrant. Interment will be in Elysian''s Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., prior to services. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Janesville is handling arrangements.

Ione Amelia was born March 11, 1922 to George Arthur and Clara Theresa (Pfeifer) Faltersack in Elysian Township, LeSueur County, Minnesota. Ione attended Janesville High School, graduating with the class of 1940. She was united in marriage to Mathew Joseph Weber on June 10, 1940 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville. Ione and Matt raised their family and farmed 4 miles west of Janesville in LeRay Township, Blue Earth County for 50 years. Following her husband''s death in February of 1991, Ione moved into Janesville that same year. Ione worked for a few years at E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca. She also served as secretary/treasurer of the Smiths Mill School District. Ione was a longtime member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville where she was active in the Rosary Society and Mother Seton Circle.

She is survived by her son, Duane J. (Jinny) Weber of Janesville; daughter-in-law, Nancy Weber of Elysian; grandchildren, Don (Molly) Weber, Chris (Brent) Konradi, Jon (Michelle) Weber, Sally Schroer, Sandy (Nowell) Schroer and Scott (Jenna) Weber; 12 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lucille, Marge and Bunny; brother-in-law, Charles Dauk; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mathew; son, Herbert Weber on 5/15/2012; granddaughter, Shelly Satchell in 2004; parents; brothers, Ralph, Roland and George Jr;

sister, Irene Cummins; sisters-in-law, Lucille Dauk , Marcella (Farleigh) Beccue, Catherine (Harry) Pemble and Veronica (Ted) Muetzel.

Casketbearers are: Don Weber, Scott Weber, Jon Weber, Matt Weber, Joe Weber, and Colton Schroer.

Honorary bearers are: Chris Konradi, Brent Konradi, Nowell Schroer, Sally Schroer, Sandy Schroer, Jenna Weber,Michelle Weber and Molly Weber.
