Ida A. Mathieu August 12, 1921 - August 20, 2013

Ida A. Mathieu, age 92, of Faribault, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Ivy Hills Senior Care in Faribault.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault, with Pastor Orin Sandberg, officiating. Interment will be at Owatonna Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Ida Augusta, was born on August 12, 1921 in Britt, Iowa to Joseph and Louise (Miller) Wradislavsky. She was married to Clarence Morse, who preceded her in death in 1971. Later she married Arthur Mathieu who died in 1986. Ida was a homemaker for her family. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, and reading her bible. She treasured her time with her family and took great pleasure in doing good things for others.

She is survived by her children, Clarence (Monica) Morse of Lake City, MN and Betty McBride of Storm Lake, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Becky Gasner, Lori Harris, Mike Morse, Brittany Morse, Dennis McBride, Elmer McBride, Peggy McBride, and Diane McBride; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
