Lori M. Hiller

LORI MARIE HILLER , age 47 of Waterville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato with family
by her side.

Born in Faribault on January 2, 1966, Lori was the daughter of Roger and Marge (Haas) Kewatt.  She attended school in Waterville and graduated from Waterville-Elysian High School in 1984.  She then continued her education by attending cosmetology school in Albert Lea.  She operated her own business in Le Center for a short time before marrying Alan Hiller on September 26, 1987 at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny.  Lori operated her own hair salon out of her home.  She enjoyed camping, four wheeling, traveling, tending to her flowers, and spending time with family.  She also coached 7th grade volleyball in Waterville for many years and was a member of Parents In Education for ten years.

Lori is survived by her husband Alan of Waterville; two daughters, Jennifer Hiller and fiancé Brad Pitan of Medford and Katrina Hiller and boyfriend Cody Ziemke of Waterville; parents, Roger and Marge Kewatt of Kilkenny; and siblings Jean (Jeff) Hagel of Waterville, Sue Kewatt (fiancé Dan Labs) of Waseca, Roger “Butch” (Kim) Kewatt of Waterville; her mother-in-law, Mabel Hiller of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Dennis Funeral and Cremation Services in Waterville, and will continue for one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny, with Rev. George Kallumkalkudy officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny. www.dennisfuneralhomes.com
