Joe Hayes

Born on March 19, 1964 in Waseca, Minnesota he was the son of Robert and Audrey (Sutter) Hayes.  He graduated from Waseca High School in 1982.  Joe married Valeska Nelson on October 28, 1989 and they were later divorced.  He was employed at Madsen’s Grocery and later Brown Printing Co. in Waseca.  He loved spending time with his kids and family.  Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.

He is survived by two sons, Tyler Hayes and Shawn (Bridget) Hayes and one granddaughter, Sydney Hayes all of Waseca.  He is also survived by his mother, Audrey Hayes of Waseca; siblings, Tim (Julie) Hayes of Waseca, Patty Hayes of Waseca, Bill (Christie) Hayes of Lakeville, Tom (Stephanie) Hayes, James (Lisa) Hayes, Julie (Mike) Olsem, John Hayes, and Jennifer Willingham all of Waseca; and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew.

Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 4-7 PM with a 7:00 PM parish prayer service.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Rev. Marty Schaefer officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.
