Gordon Dale Miller

GORDON D. MILLER, age 90 of Waseca died on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Foxdale in Waseca.

Born on March 16, 1930 in Otisco Township, Waseca County, Minnesota he was the son of Melbourne and Ruth (Fell) Miller. He attended school in rural Wilton Township. Gordon married Darlyne Miller on February 12, 1955 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Together they farmed in Wilton Township. Gordon also worked as a mechanic at various implement dealers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gordon also enjoyed woodworking, his farm animals, and collecting Allis Chalmers tractors. He had been a lifetime member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Waseca.

He is survived by his son, Lynn (Tina) Miller of Waseca; three grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Miller of Janesville, Sarah (Michael) Sieberg of Waseca, and Danielle (Jeremiah) Hess of North Mankato; and 9 great grandchildren, Addison, Claire, Isaac, Emma, Madelynn, Josephine, Ava, Genevieve and Freya. Gordon is also survived by one sister, Darlene Prestegard of Waseca. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother-in-law, Ed Prestegard.

Private family services are being held. Burial will be at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
