Gloria Rae Rollag

GLORIA ROLLAG, age 76, of Waseca, died on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Colony Court in Waseca. 

Born on November 10, 1948, in Waseca, she was the daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Flickinger) Dahnert. Gloria received her education at Waseca Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1966. Gloria was united in marriage to her childhood sweetheart, Richard Bartz on May 24, 1969, at Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca. Together they had three children and later divorced. On October 22, 1988, Gloria was married to Gary Rollag and together they shared 24 years of marriage before Gary passed away in 2012. She worked for 26 years at Waseca Mutual. While raising her children, Gloria volunteered as a Den Mother with Cub Scouts. She enjoyed knitting and crosswords. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and caring for her dog, Rocky. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca. 

Gloria is survived by her sons: Rick (Amy) Bartz of Owatonna and Randy (Abby) Bartz of Waseca; grandchildren: Sydney Bartz, Camryn Bartz, Ryley Bartz, Brandon Bartz, Wyatt Bartz, and Harper Bartz; siblings: June Schafer of Mankato, Deb Hering of Mankato, and Sandi Wandersee of Phoenix, AZ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary; son, William Bartz as an infant. 

Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the State Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service in Waseca. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
