GLORIA G. MITTELSTEADT, age 90 of Waseca died on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waseca.
Born on November 18, 1926 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Walter and Alma (Seewald) Mittelsteadt.  She attended rural Waseca County School District #64.  Gloria worked at Birds Eye Division of General Foods and Herters for several years.  She also did cleaning in homes and commercial businesses including the Roundbank, Golden Touch, Larson Allen and Patton Hoversten & Berg.  She enjoyed watching TV, gardening, going out to eat, and the company of her cats.  Gloria was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca.
She is survived by one daughter, Roxie Eaton of Madison Lake; one sister-in-law, Norma Mittelsteadt of Janesville; 5 nieces and nephews, Randall (Jean) Mittelsteadt, Renee (Steve) Howard, Rhonda (Mark) Schlie, Richard (Gatha) Mittelsteadt, and Debbie Mittelsteadt; and 8 great nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Merlin and Arvid Mittelsteadt; sister-in-law, Lois Mittelsteadt; and nephew, Steven Mittelsteadt.
Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 4-7 PM and continue on Friday, one hour before services at the church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca.  Burial will be at St. Johns Trinity Lutheran Cemetery- Iosco in Waseca County.
