GLEN JAMES CONWAY, age 77 of Waseca died on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Colony Court in Waseca.
Born on August 3, 1937 in Waseca County, Minnesota, he was the son of Arthur and Alma Conway.  He attended school in rural Waseca County and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1955 where he enjoyed playing football.  Glen married Shirley Deppe on January 30, 1960 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.  He farmed most of his life in Waseca County and later drove for Fitzsimmons Trucking Co. and worked for Crystal Valley for 14 years before retiring in 2009.   Glen enjoyed going up north fishing and listening to country and western music.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Waseca; three children, Terrie (Paul) Goettl of Janesville, Todd (Karie) Conway and William (Nicole) Conway both of Waseca; and seven grandchildren, Bridget and Gina Goettl and Reid, Cole, Matthew, Alexis and Taylor Conway.  He is also survived by one sister, Rosemary (Emmett) Gallagher of Owatonna; two sisters-in-law, Mary Conway and Beverly Conway both of Waseca; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bobby; and two brothers, Keith and Damon. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Father Gregory Leif officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church.
