Glen E. More, Sr.

GLEN EUGENE MORE, SR. age 85 of Janesville, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born in rural Pemberton on December 22, 1934, Glen was the son of Raymond and Florence (Southwick) More. He attended a country school near Pemberton as a boy. Throughout his life Glen was married and divorced three times. He drove a rendering truck route early in his working years, and went on to work at Dotsons Foundry in Mankato and at Oshmans in Mankato. He enjoyed target shooting and fishing, and he had a knack for collecting things like boats and RVs that never seemed to get used.

Glen is survived by his children, David More / Julie Chesney, Robert More, Patrick More, John More, Laura More, Maria More, Glen More, Jr., Amber Masters / Glen Allen Petrich, and Sam Petrich / step-children Carl Schultz and Kimberly Schultz; siblings, Delphine Roeker of Alma City, Lorraine Vaughan of CO, Isabelle (Dennis) Hornemann of Lake Washington, Thane (Pam) Shaw of Pemberton, and Florence (Royce) Brunz of Pemberton. He will also be remembered by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard More and Harold Shaw. A visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Janesville Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services.
