FRANCIS ALOIS ANDROLI, age 80 of Waterville, died on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.
Francis was born on July 27, 1938, on a farm in rural Waterville to George and Rosalia (Weaver) Androli.  He attended rural school in Le Sueur County before going on to graduate from Waterville Schools. He served in the Army National Guard from 1954 until 1963.  He married Mary Lee (Muellerleile) Androli on February 20, 1960, at Immaculate Conception Church in Marysburg.  He farmed his entire life in Le Sueur County.  Francis was a John Deere enthusiast who enjoyed auctions, farm swap meets, and his collection of antique farming equipment.  He was an avid fisherman, revealing his fishing secrets only to his sons and grandsons.  He was well known for his ability to fix anything.  He loved to read, especially westerns like the Louis LAmour series.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially camping and fishing trips.  He was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Elysian, American Legion Post 311, Pioneer Power Association, Southern Lakes Angling and Spearing Association, and Waterville Sportsmans Club.
Francis is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Androli of Waterville; his children,  Daryl (Carol) Androli of Chancellor, SD, Cindy (Tom) Thelemann of Kilkenny, Theresa (Marlyn) Mosher of Mankato, Patty (Tim) Wolter of Elysian, Doug (Lisa) Androli of Kilkenny, Krissy (Rich) Droog of Elysian, and Dennis (Rachel) Androli of Waseca; 22 grandchildren, Ryan (Molly) Thelemann, Katie (David) Wolf, Jared (Natasha) Thelemann, Kyle Thelemann, Erin (Cody) Adams, Amber (Michael) Davis, Kelsey Mosher, Cole Mosher, Andrew Wolter, Alyssa Wolter, Mitchell Wolter, Levi Wolter, Haley Androli, Dylan Androli, Gabe Androli, Brittney (Dillon) Schultz, Tiffany Schlueter, David Schlueter, Daniel Schlueter, Mason Droog, Jenae Androli and Jacob Androli; 12 great-grandchildren, Jack, Elena and Nolan Thelemann, Taylor, Jasmine and Jordan Wolf, Maddie, Konrad and Brynn Thelemann, Cora Adams, Alexis and Landon Davis and one more on the way; two sisters, Celia Gainer of Port Orchard, WA, and Roslyn (Joe) Poehler of Waterville; one brother, Roy (Cel) Androli of Edina; and his in-laws, Darlene (Murray) Carlson of Janesville, Roger (Roberta) Muellerleile of Elysian, Reggie (Bev) Muellerleile of Elysian, Deanna (Gary) Kanne of Waterville and Vicki (Jim) Gregor of Waterville.  He was proceeded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Mae; and parents-in-law Ollie and Evelyn (Papa and Nonnie) Muellerleile.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, July 22, 2019, at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waterville, and will continue for one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Elysian, with Father Michael Ince officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Elysian.
