FLORENCE MARIE KULLA, age 99 of Waseca died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.
Born on September 11, 1918 near Ivanhoe, Minnesota, she was the daughter of John and Ann (Shockley) Christensen.  She attended rural country school.  Florence married Leo Kulla in 1938 and together they raised 4 children.  She was employed at Woolworths in Albert Lea before moving to Waseca in 1958.  She was then employed at the EF Johnson Co., Powell House, and did cleaning for Patton & Hoversten and others.  She also worked seasonally at BirdsEye.  Florence enjoyed dancing, playing cards and bingo, and embroidery.  She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.
Florence is survived by two daughters, Mary Hamson of Waseca and Barbara (Robert) Broers of Waterville; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Robert and LeRoy; one brother, John F. Christensen; and three sisters, Edna Swehla and twins Arlene Klingbeil and Aileen Meyer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Fr. Gregory Leif officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour before services at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.
