Everett Allen Brown

EVERETT ALLEN BROWN, age 68 of Faribault, died on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Emeralds in Faribault.

Everett and his twin sister, Beverly, were born in Mankato on February 10, 1957, to parents Everett Earl and Nancy Elizabeth (Beaver) Brown. As a child he attended Roosevelt Elementary school in Mankato and later Waterville Schools before graduating from Morristown High School with the class of 1975. He worked at McQuay and other various jobs before beginning to work with his father in the custom flooring industry. He later lived in Illinois for a time where he and his son owned and operated a firewood business. When his health began to fail Everett returned to Minnesota where he lived until his death. He enjoyed playing cards, camping, hunting, fishing, trapshooting, boating, swimming, and water skiing. He was also known to love a good game of horseshoes.

Everett is survived by three children, Rochelle Brown Kozuta of OK, Dustin Lee Brown of IL, and Barbie Sheehan of Faribault, MN; one grandson, Ian Kozuta of IL; three siblings, Nanette Brown of CA, Beverly Brown Nelson of Waterville, MN, and Sherry Brown of WA; nieces, Jenny Brown, Candi Williams Amber Brown Klawitter, Regina Brown, Julie Terrell, Jessie Terrell Klaras; and nephews , Chase (Tricia) Williams and Joe Terrell. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his parents; one sister, Carol Brown Terrell; and one brother Mike Brown; as well as many other special relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the combined Waterville Bible Chapel and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Waterville (210 West Lake Street, Waterville, MN). Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church. Interment will follow at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.
