Evelyn Elizabeth Gregor

EVELYN ELIZABETH GREGOR, age 96, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Medford Senior Care Assisted Living.

Evelyn was born on February 2, 1925, to Gilbert and Thelma (Prehn) Luker, in Waseca County along with her twin sister, Elaine. She attended Waseca County rural schools through eighth grade and then graduated from Waterville High School in 1942. Evelyn married Roland Gregor on April 2, 1945 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Parsonage in Waterville. She worked at numerous jobs in the Waterville area before becoming a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, fancywork, and gardening. Evelyn was a former member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Waterville, and later Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.

Evelyn is survived by one son, Gene (Margaret) Gregor of Waseca; and one daughter, Colleen (Donald) Lavin of Minneapolis; six grandchildren, Nathan (Stephanie) Gregor, Patrick Gregor, Mathias (Amy) Gregor, Kelly (Sahil) Merchant, Shannon (Aaron) Vanjoske, Meghan (Mark) Henry, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Roland; her twin sister, Elaine; and her brother, Gerald.

A private graveside service was held at Calvary Cemetery in Waterville.
