Evangeline Louise-Marie Linde September 4, 1917 - September 21, 2014

Evangeline Linde, age 97, of Janesville died peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Janesville Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Smiths Mill, MN, with Pastor Keith Bilitz officiating. Interment will be held at Smiths Mill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Arrangements are being completed by Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville. . In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Janesville Nursing Home.

Evangeline Louise-Marie, daughter of Charles and Adele Beelow, was born on September 4, 1917 in Madison Lake. Minnesota. She attended school in Eagle Lake. Evangeline was married to Arthur Linde and was a homemaker most of her life. She also worked as a custodian for Trinity Lutheran Church in Smiths Mills for a couple years. She enjoyed gardening, putting puzzles together, playing cards, and watching the Minnesota Twins.

She is survived by her nephews; nieces; cousins; close friend, Rosemary Schroeder; and other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter in infancy, Doretta; and by her parents.
