Eulalia "Lallie" Ann Dahl

EULALIA “LALLIE” ANN DAHL, age 92 of Waseca died on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Foxdale in Waseca.

Lallie was born on June 23, 1932, in Rice County, Minnesota, the daughter of August and Agnes Malecha. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the class of 1950. Lallie married LaVerne Dahl on October 3, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. She began her working years in the Twin Cities as an Executive Secretary for the founder of Insty-prints. Years later, Lallie and LaVerne owned and operated Quality Print in Waseca. She was an incredibly talented seamstress and she was excited to have designed and sewn the Queen’s Attendant’s dress for the Aquatennial Parade in Minneapolis. She was a proud cancer survivor, a volunteer chairperson with the American Cancer Society, a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and she enjoyed dancing, traveling, visiting casinos, marching in parades with her beloved American Legion Auxiliary, and sharing her famous roast beef sandwiches.

Lallie is survived by her husband, LaVerne of Waseca; two children, Jackie (Jeff) Dickie of Waseca, and Mitchell (Sharon) Dahl of Waseca; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Yvonne Gehring of Waseca and Virginia Wobschall of Waseca; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister in childhood, Jaqueline Malecha; a sister, Charlotte Pleiss; and two brothers, August Malecha and Roman Malecha.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service in Waseca. Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
