Elaine M. Kramer, age 42 of Otisco, died on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Colony Court in Waseca, surrounded by her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca, with Fr. Marty Schaefer, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 10th from 4 to 8 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, and will continue on Tuesday for one hour prior to services, at church. Parish prayers will be held following the visitation on Monday evening at the funeral home. Elaine Mary was born on September 18, 1968 in New Ulm, Minnesota to Theodore and Marion (Liebl) LeGare. Elaine graduated from Hector High School in 1987, and went on to earn her Associate of Arts Business Management Degree from the University of Minnesota-Waseca in 1989. She was united in marriage to Jason Kramer on June 5, 1993 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Over the years Elaine worked as a para-professional at Sacred Heart Parochial School in Waseca, and more recently at Hartley Elementary School in Waseca. For the last 15 years Elaine and Jason and their family have resided in Otisco. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. She had also been active in the Waseca Garden Club, and the Waseca Women of Today. She enjoyed gardening, walking and biking. She most enjoyed her family, and was a wonderful mother. She is survived by her husband Jason, and her children Jacob, Krista, Emily, and Eric all of Otisco; by her father Theodore LeGare of Hutchinson, and her siblings Tony (Brenda) LeGare of Hector, Andy (Helen) LeGare of Rapid City, SD, David (Sue) LeGare of Dilworth, Cecilia Kurtz of Danube, Barb Billing of New Richland, and Annette (Wayne) Olson of Campbell; by her mother-in-law Jackie (Jurgen) Peters of Waseca, and her father-in-law Duane (Yvonne) Kramer of Effie; by her brother-in-law Jarrod (Deb Nygaard) Kramer of Waseca, and her sisters-in-law, Angie (Jess) Brandt of Janesville, and Allyz (Bart) Polacsek of Duluth; by many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother in February of 2010; by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Casket bearers are: Tony LeGare, David LeGare, Andy LeGare, Jason Kramer, Jacob Kramer and Don Olson. Honorary Casket bearers are: Krista Kramer, Emily Kramer and Eric Kramer.
