Edwin 'Bud' Priebe
EDWIN "BUD" PRIEBE, age 83 of Waseca died on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Born on May 4, 1933 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Edward and Ethel (Newcomb) Priebe Jr.  He graduated from Waseca Central High School in 1951 and Mankato Commercial College in 1953.  He went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1956.  Bud married Ruth Ann Lewer on October 5, 1957 at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.    He was employed in the family business, Ed Priebe Co. in Waseca until his retirement.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with the family.  Bud was a founding member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waseca.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann of Waseca; three children, Michael (Sue) Priebe of Eagle River, WI, Daniel (Diane) Priebe of Wausau, WI, and Cynthia (Gareth) Davies of Cleveland, OH; and nine grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Priebe; and two sisters, Evelyn Hartfiel and Jeanette Bauman. 
Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4-7 PM and continue on Saturday, one hour before services at the church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Cary Larson officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
