Earl West July 12, 1927 - November 4, 2010

Earl O. West, age 83, of Faribault passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the District One Hospital in Faribault. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Earl Ormand, the son of Ole A. and Elvina (Martin) West, was born on July 12, 1927 in Warroad, MN. He attended high school in Faribault. On June 25, 1960 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Parkos at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Earl worked for 38 years in different capacities at the Faribault Regional Center. He was a member of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagle''s, the Faribault Masonic Lodge #9 AF&AM, the Osman Shriners and the Faribault Lions Club. He is survived by his wife Kathy West of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glenn West.
