DWIGHT EDWIN BARNETT, age 69 of Waseca, died on August 5, 2015 at his home.
Born in Circle Pines, Minnesota on December 2, 1945, Dwight was the son of Alfred and Marcella (Briggs) Barnett.  He went to school in Faribault and graduated from Faribault High School in 1965.  That same year Dwight was drafted into the United States Army and served overseas during the Vietnam War.  Upon his return home he worked for College City Beverage for twenty five years before moving on to work for Cenex for twenty years until his retirement.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Dwight is survived by two children, Scott Barnett of Waseca and Mia Barnett of Souix Falls, SD; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Audrey (Mike) Dole-Vest of Sutter, IL, and Don (Kim) Barnett of Waseca.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents; one brother, Boyd Barnett; and one sister, Beverly Ress.
Dwights family will gather for a private remembrance at a later date.  Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca is handling arrangements.
