Douglas Jeffrey Sasse

DOUGLAS JEFFREY SASSE, age 80, of Waseca died on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Minneapolis VA Medical Center.

Born on September 16, 1944 in Anoka, Doug was the son of Daniel and Valeera (Moll) Sasse. He grew up on a turkey farm north of Sleepy Eye and attended Sleepy Eye Public Schools. Doug proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after his service. He lived in Mankato before settling in Waseca. Doug had a deep passion for electronics, enjoying both collecting and working on various devices throughout his life.

Doug is survived by his cousins, Charles Sasse, Carol (Steve) Rose, Jane Ruiter, Neoma Peterson, Donn (Gail) Moll, Dean (Carla) Moll; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and special friend, Mary Rudabeck.

A graveside service for Doug will be held in the spring at Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye, MN.
