DONNA LAVONNE REMIGER, age 87 of Waterville died on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Traditions in Waterville
Born on February 9, 1931 in rural Elysian, she was the daughter of Fred and Olga (Linnum) Seifert.  She graduated from Waterville High School in 1948 and married Gerald "Jerry" Remiger on October 15, 1949 at the Elysian Methodist Church.   Donna worked as a teachers aide for the Waterville-Elysian school district for many years.   She enjoyed knitting, basket weaving, quilting, and traveling.   Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waterville and was active with the MCCL, Elysian Lake Area Women, Elysian Library, and the Elysian Tourism Center.  It wasnt until her late 30s that she put her full trust in Gods provision for sins penalty in Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Savior.  She now has that eternal home in heaven because of that decision.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Mike) Grose of Big Fork, Michael (Kathy) Remiger of Waterville, Mark (Linda) Remiger of Park Rapids, David (Judy) Remiger of Apple Valley, and Brian (Terresa) Remiger currently of China; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.   She is also survived by one brother-in-law, Earle Taylor of Elysian; one sister-in-law, Ruth Ann (Eddie) Norman of Palmer, AK; and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Andrew Grose; and her sister, Betty Jane Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 10:30 AM at First Baptist Church in Waterville.   Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour before services at the church.   Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Elysian.
