DONALD H. LANDKAMMER, age 81 of Waseca died on Thursday, February 13, 2020 atBridgeWater Assisted Living in Janesville.

Born on June 1, 1938 in Springfield, MN he was the son of Leo & Fern (Smith) Landkammer. He attended St. Raphael Catholic School in Springfield. He married Mary Ann Johnson on July 13th, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Throughout his working career, Don worked driving excavating equipment at Fretham Brothers Construction, Loken Construction, St. John Construction, and Crane Creek Construction, all in Owatonna. Don enjoyed stock car racing, collecting die-cast model cars from the 50’s and 60’s, and family get togethers. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.

Don is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of Waseca; three children, Dean & Kathy Landkammer of Waterville, Julie & Scott Armstrong of Alvaton, KY, and Carol & Jon Rodd of Owatonna; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Dick & Ruth Ann Landkammer of Glencoe, Marvin Landkammer of Waseca, Roman & Kathy Landkammer of Sleepy Eye; brothers & sisters-in law, Tiny Johnson, Michael & Brenda Johnson, John & Alice Johnson, Tom & Holly Johnson, Bob & Janice Johnson, Frank & Diane Johnson, Richard & Karen Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Loren, Lois, Steve, Delores and Marlene; sister-in-law, Emma.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 4-7 PM at 3rd St. Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with a 7:00 PM parish prayer service and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.
