Diane Lynn (Ellis) Wolfe

DIANE LYNN (ELLIS) WOLFE, age 55 of Waseca, passed away on Wednesday November 18th, 2020 at the New Richland Care Center.

Diane was born to Lowell and Janice (DeMars) Ellis on September 26, 1965, in Waseca, where she was raised. She attended Waseca High School and graduated with the class of 1984. Following her education, Diane spent the majority of her life caring for others while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Aide at local nursing homes. She was extremely proud of her two sons, Joel and Justin, whom she shared with former spouse, Brian Wolfe. Some of her best memories were attending the weddings of both of her sons, sharing that first mother/son dance as well as the birth of her grandchildren. She enjoyed boating at the family cabin, playing volleyball with her girlfriends, riding motorcycle, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Joel (Jackie) Wolfe; grandchildren Rhett, Cecelia, and Evelyn Wolfe; son Justin (Taylor) Wolfe; grandchild Jozie Wolfe; mother Janice Ellis; brother Todd (Shelly) Ellis; sister Shelly (Tony) Dunkin; niece Meg Ellis; nephews Clay Ellis, Nate (Cassie) Ellis, Madison Forshee. She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Ellis; grandchild Wyatt Wolfe; and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the State Street Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca. A private family prayer service will be held at the end of the evening. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato at a later date.
